Recently, we designed and installed a bespoke roller and clamp system for a CNC Dynamics router. This custom solution works in harmony with the machine’s powerful 250 m³/h vacuum pump to ensure absolute material stability during machining.

Why This System Was Needed

The customer regularly works with material that isn’t perfectly flat—slightly curved or subtly corrugated. In these cases, a vacuum system alone may not achieve full surface contact. Our engineers developed a roller and clamp mechanism that gently presses the sheet into place, allowing the vacuum pump to achieve maximum hold-down force. The result: material that doesn’t move a millimetre during cutting, even on challenging surfaces.
